180 Degree Rule - can be used to inform the audience that everything on screen is in reaction to one and other.
However in horror this can be Brocken to show that voices are coming from different angles, this can scare the audience and create tension.

Match on action - Match on action is an editing technique for continuity editing in which one shot cuts to another shot portraying the action of the subject in the first shot.










Shot reverse shot - follows the 180 degree rule,
this is often used in conversations.
