Extreme close up
 This can be used to show the emotion on a characters face, this stops the viewer from focusing on anything other than the emotion on the characters face. This can be used to communicate to the audience, how we want them to feel at a specific moment. this is possibly the most important shot in horror, and is there for commonly used.
Medium shot
 
This can be used to show the facial expression of the character, this also shows the emotion of the character, as well as showing some of the surrounding of the character. This will also help the audience build a relationship with the character as it shows the emotion of the character as well as where they are.
 
 Long shot
This can be used to show the location of the characters, this can be used to show that they are lonely or that they are in a packed environment, this would be more commonly used to show that a character id lonely in a horror film a this would show that there id no help anyway bear them is something bad is to happen.
